Case shows its age in the following ways(see photos to confirm) 1) exterior threads are no longer white. Unplayed, in its case for over 40 years, so we are assuming the pads and springs will need to be replaced, but we could be wrong. Minor hairline scratches to be expected on a 47-year-old instrument. No visible areas on foot or body where silver plate has rubbed off. One owner- flute has been stored since 1967. Body, and Foot joints all fit together properly and the Crown is intact.
